About
James Sleeman is a 24-year-old audio engineer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter from Neptune, NJ and is currently based in Asbury Park, NJ. His main focus is on recording, mixing, and mastering of music to the highest quality. More recently he has been diving into the new world of mixing music for Dolby Atmos, including assisting Steve Greenwell with the Atmos mixes for Joss Stone’s 2022 Christmas album “Merry Christmas, Love”. He has been able to work alongside and study with many industry professionals, including Tom Ruff, Steve Greenwell, Tim Pannella, Tom Spiker, Alex Santilli, Brian McTear, and Michael Johnson. As a songwriter, James has collaborated with Joe Parella (JoeP), Tor Miller, and Steve Patrick (Young Rising Sons). James also edits podcasts for Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival and NCCAkron.
